TEXTILE SANCTUARY

This series of woven, crocheted, or embroidered works is part of a slow and meditative creative process, where time becomes matter. Each piece is like a dream, a fear, an emotion, or a fragment of life taking shape, like a contemporary totem.

Inspired by the world of haute couture and drawing on my background in fashion, these works pay particular attention to detail, composition, and the richness of materials. Created from new and recycled textiles—including scraps from my clothing business—they are intended as a poetic response to overconsumption.

Colorful, luminous, and vibrant with sunlight, they stand within the realm of contemporary art as immersive experiences. Their intention is to invite a moment of playful contemplation, far removed from the frenetic pace of the world and the superficiality of social media. They call for a return to oneself, an intimate encounter with time, light, and matter.
